Leanne's Trees

Leanne's Trees
These 5 canvases are for my son and daughter-in-law's home.
They took quite a while to install, trying to get them spaced evenly apart and in the
space.  The group is 10 feet tall and 5 feet wide and it hangs in their open stairwell.
Love you.
Enjoy!!
(tricky to get a good photo of all of them, sorry)

working on another "tree" painting

I set up in the garage to do this grouping.
It is five canvases that will be hung on a long wall of a staircase in an open concept home.
It is 10 feet high and 54 inches wide.  I will post another photo of it (them) when they get installed.
I used a pallet knife almost exclusively, and I don't know if you can make it out in the photo, but I am actually using a cake spatula for some of the bigger trees.
Boy, you sure go through the paint that way!!

The Crow revisited

I mounted the Crow painting on another canvas that I painted black, then
wrote on it with
chalk.
It is very 3 dimensional, when seen in person.
What do you think?

The crows that you see everyday, everywhere, all seem to be camera shy.  I have been out with my camera trying to get a good photo because I had a hankering to paint a crow.
